What we collect
- Analytics data. Aggregate information about pages viewed, approximate region, referring site, device type and browser. We use it to understand which pages are useful.
- Server logs. Standard request logs including IP address, kept briefly for security and abuse prevention.
- Anything you send us. If you email the editorial address, we hold that message and your address in order to reply.
We do not ask for or store payment details, we do not operate user accounts, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
Cookies and affiliate tracking
The important disclosure on this page is the affiliate one. When you follow a link to an operator, that operator or its affiliate network may set a cookie or record a click identifier so the referral can be attributed to us and we can be paid a commission. That tracking is operated by the operator or its network, not by us, and is governed by their privacy policies. We do not receive your name, your account details or your gambling activity from it; we receive aggregate referral and commission reporting.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Doing so does not affect your ability to read this site.
How we use it
To operate and improve the site, to keep it secure, to answer correspondence, and to reconcile affiliate commission. We do not sell personal information, and we do not build advertising profiles.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers who host the site, provide analytics, and administer affiliate tracking, and where we are legally required to disclose it.
Retention
Server logs are kept for a short period. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. Email correspondence is kept while it is relevant to an ongoing correction or enquiry.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to processing, or to opt out of any sale or sharing of it. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, write to the editorial address on the contact page and we will respond within the period the applicable law requires.
